Fulbright Canada is pleased to announce Pascale Fournier as a recipient of the Community Action Program grant. Her project, From Law to Living Knowledge, connects Université d'Ottawa law students with the KWE! Festival in Quebec City—an Indigenous-led gathering centred on storytelling, dialogue, and knowledge sharing.

By engaging as respectful observers, students will move beyond legal theory to better understand lived experiences of identity, belonging, and community. Their reflections will help bridge the gap between legal frameworks and Indigenous perspectives, contributing to ongoing conversations around reconciliation.

This initiative highlights the importance of experiential learning and the power of community-based exchange in shaping more informed, empathetic leaders.
