About the event

Stories accompany and transform us: they feed our imagination, shape our identities, and influence our beliefs. Drawing on his philosophical lens and literary work (Paths of Desire), Dr. Emmanuel Kattan will invite students to reflect on the role of reading in our lives and on the ways stories guide our individual and collective choices. By exploring how literature opens us to otherness and empathy, this session will highlight the connections between narrative, self-awareness, and the ability to act ethically—essential dimensions of leadership in human rights.
