About the event

This session will explore the leadership exercised by women within legal institutions, viewed not only as a function of authority but also as a responsibility toward the community and the individuals whom justice systems are meant to serve. The discussion will highlight how women in leadership positions contribute to shaping institutional culture, legitimacy, and public trust in legal institutions—particularly in areas where legal decisions have direct and lasting impacts on children and families.

Conceived as a space for dialogue, this conversation will invite students to reflect on leadership as a systemic practice—one that is attentive to the concrete effects of law on people, especially the most vulnerable—and capable of sustainably influencing the priorities, practices, and culture of legal institutions.
