About the event

This Lunch and Learn will invite students into a reflective conversation on leadership at the intersection of faith, human rights, and the public square. Drawing on my work bringing faith communities together in cities and institutions—including my current Faith in the City initiative in London, past leadership of the London Faith Forum, and advisory roles to major civic and global events such as the Olympic and international sporting worlds—the session will explore how pluralism is practiced under real-world pressure.

The conversation will also draw on my engagement with the UN Faith for Rights framework and my recent interfaith documentary work in Kerala, India, which examines centuries of coexistence among Hindu, Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities along the Malabar Coast. Through these lived case studies, students will be invited to consider how leadership rooted in ethical and spiritual grounding can sustain human dignity, protect freedom of religion or belief, and help institutions and societies navigate difference with integrity rather than fear.
