About the event

The “Indigenous Women” sub-group is pleased to invite you to a conference they have been preparing for several weeks, focusing on their experience within the Observatory.

This conference will be an opportunity to reflect on what makes the Observatory so unique: a learning experience that goes beyond the traditional classroom setting, allowing participants to engage with the law differently—through practice, fieldwork, and meaningful engagement.

They will also present their project on Indigenous women, drawing in particular on their lived experiences within different communities, as well as the creation of a documentary. They aim to highlight the importance of collaborative work with communities and the value of listening to these lived realities.

Finally, they will conclude with a presentation of the event organized as part of the 50th anniversary of the Quebec Charter, in order to promote it within the student community. Sign up here to attend in person!
