Frédérique Paradis
Partnerships & Fundraising Coordinator and Children’s Rights Subgroup Lead
Frédérique is a third-year Civil Law (LL.L.) student at the University of Ottawa and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2027. Passionate about social justice and human rights, she now leads the Children’s Rights Subcommittee, as well as the Observatory on Human Rights at the UN’s partnership and fundraising initiatives.
Throughout her university studies, Frédérique has been actively involved in student life. She previously served as Vice-President of the Civil Law Section’s Philanthropy Committee, where she contributed to organizing the Justice on Ice charity event in support of the CHEO Foundation (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario). She currently serves as Vice-President of Professional Development of the Civil Law Students’ Association for the 2026–2027 academic year, where she works with law firms and businesses to develop partnerships and sponsorships that benefit students.
A competitive equestrian for several years, Frédérique balances training, competitions, and her studies. This commitment has strengthened the discipline, perseverance, and determination that she now brings to the causes she cares deeply about.
