Khristina Menegakis
Leader at the Observatory on Human Rights at the UN
Originally from Montreal, Khristina is entering her third year in the civil law program at the University of Ottawa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from Concordia University, a foundation that continues to shape her understanding of law as a deeply human practice.
Her commitment to human rights is rooted in two convictions : that women's rights remain one of the most urgent and unfinished projects of our time, and that neurodiversity deserves greater recognition in both legal and academic spaces. She believes there is still much ground to cover and she wants to be part of that work.
Within the Faculty of Law, Khristina is entering her second term as President of the Intellectual Property Law Association. She also represented the University at the National Model United Nations 2026 as part of the delegation of Monaco, an experience that deepened her engagement with international frameworks and multilateral dialogue.
At the Observatory, she looks forward to translating her passion for women's rights and neurodiversity into meaningful research and advocacy, eager to learn alongside peers and mentors who share her commitment to justice.
Khristina is fluent in English, French, and Greek.
