In this session Dr. Margarida Garcia will present an ontological approach to leadership education where the invitation is to turn toward Being and inquiry into the foundational importance of learning to lead oneself in order to have the capacity to lead social transformations. Drawing on her expertise in human rights theory and ontological leadership education and diving into the topics of authenticity, integrity and freedom, Dr. Garcia will invite us to look at what it takes for each of us to invent our own possibilities for Being and Acting in the context of human rights work and activism.
