Aurélia Bizouard

Professional visual artist affiliated with the Maison des Artistes

Aurélia Bizouard has been a professional visual artist for over fifteen years. She is affiliated with the Maison des Artistes and is a member of the ADAGP. Holding both French and Canadian citizenship, she currently lives and works in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France.

Drawing inspiration from her experiences between France and Canada, Aurélia Bizouard has developed a distinctive artistic language that explores the boundary between the material and the immaterial. In her work, light becomes a medium for expressing memory, human vulnerability, and the invisible connections that unite individuals and communities.

​

In 2024, she completed a Master’s degree with distinction in Contemporary Art Practices and holds a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She complements her artistic training with a diploma in International Business Studies from Négocia Paris Business School.

Beyond her artistic practice, Aurélia Bizouard is deeply involved in cultural, humanitarian, and community initiatives. She has served on several boards of directors, including the Collective of Visual Artists of British Columbia in Canada and the Ateliers d’Art de Saint-Germain-en-Laye in France. She also actively collaborates with the French association See You Art.

Committed to artistic transmission and public engagement, Aurélia has initiated a number of impactful projects, including Café des Arts, Marketing de l’Art, and, since 2017, the Kulturelia collective art initiatives. These projects invite participants to engage directly in the creative process, uncover hidden meanings, and experience art as a space for connection, reflection, and shared humanity.

Today, her artistic research focuses more than ever on the dynamic relationship between the visible and the invisible, pursuing a sincere, sensitive, and deeply contemporary exploration of human experience.

Guided by a spirit of openness, generosity, and knowledge-sharing, Aurélia Bizouard is dedicated to passing on her techniques and artistic approach to those interested in discovering their subtleties, convinced that art grows stronger when it is shared and transmitted.
