Roland is a leading international arbitration practitioner with extensive experience as both counsel and arbitrator. He has acted as counsel in approximately 100 international arbitrations and as arbitrator in more than 45 cases under major institutional and ad hoc rules, representing and advising companies, states, and international organizations worldwide. He also served for nine years as a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
Roland is consistently recognized among the leading practitioners in international arbitration by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers, and Global Arbitration Review. His practice spans complex commercial and investment disputes, with particular experience in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
