Dr. Connie Scuccimarri

Clinical psychologist and President of The Connie and Robert Foundation

Dr. Connie Scuccimarri is a clinical psychologist and President of The Connie and Robert Foundation. She studied at McGill University and Université du Québec à Montréal. She has worked for over 25 years at The Montreal Children’s Hospital and in private practise supporting children, adolescents and parents with physical as well as mental health challenges including neurodevelopmental disorders, anxiety and mood disorders. Six years ago, she and her husband founded The Connie and Robert Foundation celebrating young adults and their psychological journeys. She is a public advocate for mental health in the media, raising awareness about the psychological difficulties faced by youth today. Working with a trauma-informed care lens, her approach is collaborative and tailored to the individual. A witness to the hardships faced by families who have experienced emotional as well as chronic illnesses from diverse backgrounds, she understands the effort and dedication required to make meaningful changes. These children and adolescents often come experiencing significant emotional turmoil, toxic relationships, learning disabilities, and other struggles. Psychological repair is no small feat, and therefore, Dr. Scuccimarri feels strongly that it is a journey that merits recognition and ongoing support.
