Aurélia Bizouart

Aurélia Bizouard is a professional visual artist, recipient of the Medal of the Académie des Arts, Sciences et Lettres of Paris, affiliated with the *Maison des Artistes*, and a member of the *ADAGP* (Society of Authors in the Graphic and Plastic Arts). Holding both Canadian and French citizenship, she is based in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France, while regularly working in Canada and internationally on artistic projects.

Aurélia holds a State-recognized Master's degree (Master 2, with distinction) in Contemporary Art Practices, as well as a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She also earned a diploma in International Business from Negocia Paris Business School, combining artistic excellence with an international and interdisciplinary perspective.

Beyond her artistic practice, Aurélia is deeply engaged in cultural, humanitarian, and community initiatives. She has served on the boards of several organizations, including the Collective of Visual Artists of British Columbia in Canada and the Ateliers d’Art of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. In France, she actively collaborates with the association *See You Art*. Committed to knowledge-sharing and public engagement, she has developed several collaborative initiatives, including *Café des Arts*, *Marketing de l’Art*, and, since 2017, the *Kulturelia* collective art projects, which invite communities to participate in the creative process, uncover hidden meanings, and experience art as a space for dialogue, reflection, and shared humanity.

Working between France and Canada, Aurélia has developed a distinctive artistic language that exists at the intersection of the material and the intangible, where light becomes a vehicle for memory, human vulnerability, and invisible connections.

Her artistic practice is rooted in contemporary, site-specific, and contextual art, exploring what lies beyond immediate perception. Through painting, sculpture, photography, light projections, ephemeral installations, and performance art, she transforms everyday observation into poetic and collective experiences. Guided by her artistic vision of bringing “light to life,” her work invites audiences to reconsider the relationship between individuals, their environment, and the unseen dimensions of human experience.

Through a rigorous exploration of the visible and the invisible, Aurélia captures traces of reality to reveal their social, emotional, and human significance within the spaces where her works are created. Her practice encourages participation, transmission, and immersion, demonstrating how art can become a powerful catalyst for dialogue, connection, and meaningful societal impact.
